Which CBD Vape Drip/Concentrate Milligram Strength Should I Choose?

Updated September 6th, 2020

At Pure CBD Vapors, we offer a wide array of easy-to-use, high-quality CBD vape drips and concentrates from a variety of highly respected companies.  These products are unique in that they allow you to easily add CBD concentrate to an existing vape juice that you’d use with a standard vaping setup.  Each drop contains a uniquely potent amount of quality hemp extract, meaning that you can turn your standard e-juice into a CBD-infused vape oil within seconds.

But, before you run out and purchase any old CBD vape drip or concentrate, there’s one thing that you need to consider, and that’s the milligram strength.  As we all know by now, the milligram strength of any CBD product determines its potency level, which directly determines how strong your hemp experience will be.  With CBD vape drips and concentrates, each drop is extremely potent.  This means that the difference between one and two drops is pretty significant in terms of potency level.  Hence why you need to pay extra attention to the milligram strength of the product you choose.

How Do You Know Which Milligram Strength is Right for You?

Well, at Pure CBD Vapors, the strengths that we offer for our vape drips and concentrates are generally between 3mg and 50mg per drop.  That’s a pretty big difference.  So, allow us to break down the factors to consider when choosing which strength is ideal for you.

Factor #1:  Size of Your Tank or Cartridge

One thing to take into account is the size of your vape tank or cartridge with which you’ll be using the drip or concentrate.  This is because it’s assumed that you’ll be adding your drops to a full tank of e-liquid.  The smaller the cartridge, the more potent a single drop will make your e-liquid.  The larger your tank, the less concentrated it will be because a single drop will be added to far more vape juice.

Factor #2: Your Desired Potency Level

Of course, something to think about is how potent you want the e-liquid to be based on your unique preferences.  If you’re already an experienced hemp user who has vaped CBD for a while, you probably have a pretty good idea of the milligram strength range that is the most satisfying to you.  So, a simple math equation can help you figure out how to find that same milligram strength with a vape drip or concentrate.

Factor #3: How Many Drops You’d Like to Add

Also, think about how many drops you’d like to add to your e-liquid.  Milligram strength determines potency, but so does the quantity of vape drip or concentrated added to your vape juice.  Maybe you want to add only one drop at a time to your vape tank, because you’re not a fan of the way in which hemp mixes with your e-liquid’s flavor.  So, you’d want to go with a higher milligram strength to achieve a high potency level without having to add multiple drops of hemp extract.  Makes sense, right?

Factor #4: What You’re Trying to Achieve

We all have our unique reasons for taking CBD, whether we’re trying to experience relief or just enjoy the chill nature of hemp throughout the day.  What you’re trying to accomplish with CBD can have a lot to do with how many milligrams you should consume in the form of a vape drip or concentrate.  If you’re just a casual hemp enthusiast who is not out to achieve anything specific, you may decide a lower concentration is just fine.  But, if you have a specific goal in mind, a higher strength may be ideal.

Factor #5: How New You Are to CBD

If you’re totally new to CBD altogether, or even just new to vaping CBD, it might be wise to start off with a low concentration.  This is because it gives you a chance to experience the effects of CBD at a low potency level rather than diving in headfirst.

Factor #6: How Comfortable You Are with This Type of Product

CBD is a rapidly expanding industry, with new types of products hitting the market all the time.  This can intimidate and overwhelm those who are still not completely used to hemp and know a lot about it.  With a product like a CBD vape drip or concentrate, a little goes a long way, and this can make you feel uncomfortable if you’re still not totally familiar with its effects.  Therefore, you may decide to go with a low milligram strength in order to ease yourself into this type of product.

Factor #7: Type of E-Liquid You’re Already Using

CBD vape drips and concentrates are often associated with standard e-liquids containing nicotine, and no actual hemp extract.  But you may decide you want to add one of these products to a CBD e-liquid in order to bring up its potency level.  If this is the case, you have to consider the potency level of the existing vape juice before choosing how much more milligram strengths you want to add to it.  This may require some experimentation, especially if you’re combining two different types of hemp extracts, because this can impact the overall effects as well.

Factor #8: The Power of Your Vaping Setup

Take into consideration the power of your vaping setup.  Today, the vaping hardware world is diverse in terms of its products.  We have low-wattage pod mod systems, high-wattage sub-ohm systems and everything in between.  Different wattage levels can affect how strongly the CBD hits you, because of how the heat level interacts with the compounds as well as how much vapor you take in per pull.  So, figure out which type of device you have in terms of its power, and choose your milligram strength accordingly.  High-potency drips and concentrates may be felt more strongly if you’re using a vaping system that has extremely high output capabilities, so bear this in mind.  Of course, ultimately, it’s totally up to you.

Bottom Line,  Consider the Milligram Strength Carefully

This directly determines the potency of your vaping experience, hence, you don’t wanna just choose any milligram strength that’s available without giving it thought.  Use this guide to consider everything before making your decision.  And, remember that at Pure CBD Vapors, we offer a variety of concentrates and vape drips so that you can easily choose from a large selection of milligram strengths based on your individual preferences.
